One Exclusive Muslim Cemetery For Muslims From 23 Towns and beyond
Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"He who washes a Muslim and conceals what he sees (bad smell, appearance,etc), Allah grants him forgiveness forty times (or for forty major sins), And he who digs for him (a grave) and buries him would be granted a reward similar to providing for him a dwelling until the Day of Resurrection.

 And he who shrouds him, Allah will clothe him on the Day of Resurrection from the silk garments of Jannah."

Bar to Masjid...

In 2020, Nancy, a non-Muslim owner of a restaurant/bar, had a dream where her deceased mother urged her to do something good before it was too late.

 Moved by the dream, she contacted our community and offered to sell her property to be turned into a mosque, despite receiving better offers. She even agreed to a three-year, interest-free payment plan.

From humble beginnings in a small rented space in 2010, our community has grown, transforming the property into a 4,000 square foot masjid.

Officially open since Ramadan 2022, the masjid now hosts various activities including prayers, Islamic school, and community gatherings. We initially needed to raise $1,500,000, and thanks to Allah, then to generous donations, we now have a mosque to call our masjid.

THE STORY:

After a 3 year challanging fundraiser to establish the first mosque in the area, Allah SWT blessed us with an amazing opportunity to establish the first muslim cemetery in the area.

After the success our community had with the first project, we were trusted by a select group of brothers to carry on the efforts to make this dream project a reality.

Those brothers who seek to remain annonymous helped raise a million dollars in qard hassan (loan without interest) to secure the land for this project.

Today, we're turning to Allah then to you brother and sister to help us make this non profit project a reality.

The idea behing all of this is to make muslim burrials free for those who need it the most.

THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND SADAQAH JARIYAH

🔺 Giving to charity rewards you from Allah, freeing you from worry or sadness (Al-Baqarah, 262).

🔺 Allah increases the rewards of giving to charity by up to 700 times (Al Baqarah, 261).

🔺 Giving to charity can erase some of your mistakes (Al-Baqarah, 271).

🔺 Your wealth won't decrease by giving to charity (Hadith by At-Tirmidhi and Ahmad).

🔺 The benefits of your charity go on even after you pass away (Hadith by Muslim).

🔺 It protects against difficulties (Hadith by Baihaqi and Thabrani).

🔺 It helps avoid hellfire (Hadith by Ahmad, Bukhari, Muslim).

🔺 It provides shade for you on Judgment Day (Hadith by Thabrani).

🔺 It may increase your lifespan and prevent an unhappy end (Hadith by Thabrani).

🔺 You'll receive help from Allah (Hadith by Muslim).

The new muslim cemetery is 65meters away from the only masjid in the area (23 towns)

Free burial cemetery

The biggest problem we face is that almost all cemeteries in Canada are owned by non-religious business owners who profit off of someone's death. 

There are sections in the cemetery where local mosques have purchased a plot for Muslims. 

The owners of these cemeteries are charging a lot for burials, land, etc. 

We want to put an end to that and make the funeral/burial process FREE and as simple as possible.

The Ummah will buy the cemetery with donations and all Muslims will use the cemetery

No one will have to be concerned about being able to afford a sunnah burial-InshaAllah.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever digs a grave for a deceased person and buries him, will receive the reward of giving him a place to reside in until the Day of Judgment.”

By the will of Allah, we have bought a land for 1 million dollars and are now establishing it as the first muslim cemetery in the area.
